Impact Scaffolding's roots go back to 1993, when the business was first established as Central Scaffolding. In 2021, Rick Bourgaize took over the company and rebranded it as Impact Scaffolding, building on its strong reputation for reliable, professional service.
Rick is a scaffolding professional with decades of industry experience. He has done everything from erecting and dismantling structures to project managing some of the largest scaffolding contracts ever undertaken in Guernsey.
Since then, Impact has grown quickly into one of the island's most respected scaffolding companies. That growth hasn't happened by chance. It's built on consistent quality, honest communication, and a commitment to getting the job done right, every single time.

Raising standards across the industry
We don't just talk about raising standards — we take action. Impact recently partnered with fellow Guernsey scaffolding contractors to bring UK-based training company Safety & Access to the island, delivering world-recognised CISRS qualifications to both new and experienced scaffolders.
With no States or College of Further Education support available for scaffolding training in Guernsey, Rick brought the island's contractors together to make it happen independently — sharing the cost, sharing the commitment, and raising the bar for the whole industry.
